THE SAILING, Vermont gray granite, High 9 feet by Wide 7 feet 2 inch by Depth 4 feet 3 inch, weight between 8,000- 9,000 lb. currently displayed at San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts , Artist master sculptor Besada Yakoub ( listed artist ) received an award from the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts because of this perfect art work "the sailing"  "Some boats merging in a movement, and the sail is tied with a rope formed in imagination, stretched to its limit full abreast whilst being taught to a rocky coast. In attempts to describe the somewhat toil in life we all bar. This piece was carved within 2 years (2006-2007) ,it is a study of the wind and the movement of some boats and is the largest of the three masterpieces that artist has completed to date. It has dynamic perfection and balance of mass. Gray granite is a hard and wonderful stone to work on it. There was abounded stone around 20,000 lb.in Johnson Atelier in 2003 artist bought the stone, finished the sculpture in 2007. The artist gained many awards for his artworks from museums and art institutions. Regarding this one specifically he received an award from the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts  , alot of artist Besada Yakoub art work are in many museums all over the world.
