Gerges Algawly , title: "Two Camels Resting."

title: "Two Camels Resting."The materials used are gravel and sandstone.Dimensions are 25 cm in height, 22 cm in width, and 40 cm in length. The art style is contemporary. The artwork consists of two solid gravel blocks representing the seated forms of camels in an oasis on a rocky surface. The artist aims to depict the desert nature where camels live, especially in the Giza Pyramids area, which is known for its abundant camels often visited by tourists for leisure and safaris. Egyptians also use camels for transporting agricultural products in rural areas, symbolizing strength, endurance, and patience. The artist drew inspiration from the shapes of gravel blocks in the Egyptian environment, which contain various hidden forms within them and only require minimal additions to resemble living natural forms. This artistic vision was presented by the artist in an exhibition titled "The World of Gravel" at the International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Minya University, Egypt, in 2018
